Fanfan La Tulipe - Gaty & Nortier

this a mid-70s book by PIF publishers - by the same team who did the Robin Hood feature. Brillant inking by Nortier and Gaty does his thing pretty good, too... This is called "The Night of the Beaver" by Editions Kangourou. This feature actually had a decent 10-year run and Editions Topinambourg reprinted the whole deal recently - cool.
